After working 30+ years in luxury Retail this is a pinch me moment for Sara of owning her own store!
Born in the UK, brought up in South Africa and studied in the UK, Sara was transferred to the USA over 17 years ago for an Executive role that had her traveling the world.
This role was her dream job however she had a passion for toys and a keen collector of teddy bears, Barbie and Carousels!
So, when she saw a sign in the window for ‘help needed’ in Toy Crazy at the Marin Country Mart, she applied! Her love for toys and being around children was a win, win!
She worked with the owner part time as she was also consulting for numerous Retail Brands having been let go from her dream job due to COVID.
She was then given an opportunity and decided to move into a full-time role in Corporate America. One year later she realized that she missed TOYS and her ‘happy place’!
The rest is history…
